As a surf inspired brand, protecting our environment is a key concern for us. Therefore we have a recycling program to encourage recycling our empty and used product containers as well as sustainable shipping efforts to minimize waste with e-commerce shipping. Check out the programs below:

Recycling Program

We've teamed up with TerraCycle to make it easy to recycle our products - and are providing incentives for you to recycle as well. 

The Process:

Send us 5 of your used SURFCHIQUE containers (all at one time) with all product removed as best as possible. We will then send them to TerraCycle for you. We purchase boxes from TerraCycle for specific types of products which enables them to recycle them efficiently. 

Once we receive your empty containers, we will send you a free product of your choice, up to a $25 full price retail value.

E-mail us prior to sending us your empty containers and let us know what product you would like and we will also confirm the address to ship them to. 

Once we receive your 5 empty SURFCHIQUE containers we will send you your free product. Unfortunately we can't accept responsibility if these products get lost in the mail and cannot accept returns or exchanges on these items.

Sustainable Shipping

We know that e-commerce businesses often produce lots of waste with the packaging required for shipping. Therefore we wanted to reduce this waste as much as possible.

For larger purchases, we are now using Boox boxes. These boxes assemble without tape (eliminating one wasteful product) and are designed to be shipped, returned, then reused over and over again. They are made of super durable, corrugated polypropylene — a water-proof, tear-proof, and easy-to-recycle material, ideal for reusable packaging. 

For smaller purchases, we use compostable envelopes that are 100% bio-degradable. The bubble wrap is made of PBAT & modified corn starch. The envelope is made of kraft.
